Unique reggae event offering excellent community spirit, Jamaican musical styles, and festive people from all around Birmingham. A two-day commemoration marking Jamaica’s big 60th milestone of independence and is known as the Jamaica 0121 Festival Birmingham. The beauty is that it’ll be a free outdoor event Formerly held at Victoria square Birmingham. This event integrates Jamaican and British culture and includes live music, performing artists, DJ’s, seminars, Jamaican dishes as well as Jerk food, and also a variety of vendors.

Stage performances, music, food and jerk stalls, movies, Jamaican bars, sound systems, and handicrafts will all be present. Flag-raising ceremonies, free reggae events, sound system performances, gospel festivals, cooking workshops, dance classes, and performances by international and British artists are all included in the event.

Day 2 – Sunday 7th Line-up

• Jamaica0121 Begins: 11:00am Stalls
• Dominoes Competition: 13:00pm – 15:30pm // Come and play dominoes with teams from of the UK as they compete across this Jamaican pastime.
• Sunday Best: 14:00pm – 16:00pm // They will hosting Sunday Best, bringing the greatest gospel artists across the UK toward the square together in soulful setting.
• Wassifa Showcase: 17:00pm – 18:00pm // Wassifa Showcase one of Britain’s oldest sound systems will provide you with music throughout the evening.
• Jamaica Unplugged: 17:00am – 20:00pm // This festival’s finale shall feature a musical performance that will exemplify Jamaica’s global brand by highlighting its culture via cuisine and music.
