Sisters Talk – The Virtual Café – Online Networking

Grab your favourite beverage and come network! This is an open online Zoom session within our community during which we can talk about anything and just prevent isolation.

Information About The Event

Sisters Talk are black women’s meetings that began around Derby in 2018. We talk about mental health, physical health, community challenges, and lifestyle. We also featured conversations concerning COVID 19’s influence on the community in 2020. It is a secure place to express oneself, debate and share experiences, fight alienation, and engage in peer support and dialogues.

Sisters Talk is a forum for black women of African and Caribbean descent. This is an open meeting to interact, network, and share information.

Participating

The project is aimed towards black women. We’re establishing a safe environment for women of African and Caribbean heritage to talk about these issues. Space will be limited.

We are presently seeking funds to attract speakers by fundraising and offer a range of activities in our sessions. We want to keep the area available once a month. Donations are gratefully accepted.
